Apple unveils iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on Tuesday at 12:30pm
Apple today announced its iPhone 6, iPhone 6 plus, and iPhone 7 smartphones.
All three new iPhones are designed to compete with Samsung and other top-tier smartphone makers.
The iPhone 6 includes a large 5.7-inch OLED display, a 2,100mAh battery, a dual-core Snapdragon 801 processor, and an upgraded camera with OIS and a wide-angle lens.
The new iPhone is also the first iPhone with dual front-facing cameras.
The latest iPhone also comes with a 3G-only wireless charging technology called Lightning, along with improved camera performance and better battery life.
The new iPhones, along in the iPhone 6 series, come in a variety of colors.
The iPhone 6S Plus is a “classic black” model that is available in a “gold” and “red” color.
The upcoming iPhone 7 will include a 5.5-inch LCD display with a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 16GB storage option.
The smartphone will also feature a 12MP camera with optical image stabilization, and 3G LTE connectivity.
