Why do I feel the need to add ‘excessive’ to my name?
I think this question comes up a lot.
If I were to name my son, I would probably have to do something like ‘my son is named James’.
Or ‘my daughter is named Lizzy’.
Or something along those lines.
But it doesn’t feel right to name him ‘James’ or ‘Lizzy’.
I think it’s important to think about what it means to have an excessive name.
How do we get there?
I know that many parents think they need to keep their kids out of the media and that’s great, but if they don’t, they are missing out on the opportunity to grow up with an exceptional name and the opportunity for people to find out about it.
So, what do you think?
Are you thinking of making a change to your name?
If so, do you have any tips on how to do it?
